Although Mobile DVRs and Dash Cameras are both vehicle-mounted surveillance devices, each has distinct features and application scenarios. Mobile DVRs are typically installed inside vehicles, with larger sizes, heavier weights, and rugged designs, making them suitable for commercial fleets such as buses, school buses, and police vehicles. They support multiple external cameras, offer high scalability, and can connect to external monitors for real-time video surveillance. Mobile DVRs also support all AI features, including applications like APC (Automatic Passenger Counting) and BSD (Blind Spot Detection) based on external cameras.


In contrast, Dash Cameras are compact, lightweight, and designed to be mounted on vehicle windshields, making them more suitable for private cars and SUVs for individual consumers. Dash Cameras integrate front and rear cameras, with some models supporting additional external cameras. Their AI functionalities primarily focus on active safety features such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), DMS (Driver Monitoring Systems). Furthermore, Dash Cameras often come with either a small built-in screen or a screenless design, emphasizing portability and smart features.


As a brand-new product, the Dash Camera Model M607 introduces both design and functionality improvements.


In terms of design, the M607 adopts a more rectangular shape with a rotating camera design that supports multi-angle shooting. The front features a prominent heat dissipation grille, highlighting its focus on cooling, which is ideal for long-term use inside vehicles.


Functionally, the M607 is equipped with dual-channel 1080P high-definition front and rear cameras and supports up to two additional 1080P external cameras, enabling simultaneous recording inside and outside the vehicle to meet diverse scenarios. It supports H.265 and H.264 encoding, significantly saving storage space and transmission bandwidth.


The M607 also incorporates dual AI algorithms, offering features such as ADAS, DMS, and BSD for comprehensive driving safety. It is equipped with a GPS + Beidou dual-mode precision positioning system, supports 4G full-band connectivity, and offers Wi-Fi hotspot functionality. With client software and Mobile APP, it allows convenient video preview and parameter configuration. Additionally, the M607 features emergency SOS alerts, low-power sleep mode, and voice interaction, further enhancing the user experience. Its proprietary file system ensures stable and reliable video recording, demonstrating RECODA's strong capabilities in technological innovation.
